Review

  • This is the best little tool ever! I used it on the motorcycle tightening some bolts, 10mm socket on one side, 5mm hex bit on the other, so easy to use both at the same time. When flipping it over, the ratcheting is reversed (of course). Great investment, I got it for my motorcycle tool kit, trying minimum tools. This is a perfect addition.
  • cute as a pin, fit, finish, and operation smooth. No big ugly plastic handle on this one.Just some really nice knurling, thats right knurling, something we use to have alot of on many things, but now a days, you see it once in awhile. This is really a super neat tool ,and it’s a lifer.Think I’m gonna pickup a couple other ones to match,if for no other reason,I like knurling……
  • Solid steel (no plastic handle,) smooth 72-tooth gear ratcheting action. Fits nicely in hand. Knurling isn’t too sharp. Holds hex bits snugly without some weak magnet (whether it has a detent spring for hex side I’m not sure. But it holds bits securely.) Ball bearing detent on 1/4″ ratchet side. Plan to buy a few to keep around handy as bits have become so common nowadays.
  • I first bought this model ratchet years ago while working on LCAC’s in California and it was the best tool I have ever owned. I never put a cheater on it so if i couldn’t muscle it, i would use a bigger tool. This thing has lasted over 10 years and it was finally lost. I ordered 3 more and gave 2 away for my employees. 72 tooth and long lasting ratcheting action! perfect for tight spaces and hex driver for screw bits also comes in handy!
  • THIS IS THE SMALLEST 1/4 INCH RACHET WRENCH IV EVER SEEN.IV HAD OTHER SMALL (5 INCH-6INCH SOCKET WRENCHES) THIS ONE MEASURES OUT AT AROUND 3.5 INCHES IT IS AKWARD TO HOLD.IM KEEPING IT BECAUSE IT WILL FIT IN SMALL POCKET EASY TO STASH.SHOULD TAKE ALLEN ATTACHMENT…..SHOULD ALSO TAKE OTHER ATTACHMENTS THAN SOCKETS……DO NOT PULL SPARK PLUGS,OR HEAVY BOLTS,….NOT ENOUGH WRENCH.
  • The ratcheting mechanism has really fine teeth that makes this thing feel really solid. Than handle is too short to be comfortable in larger hands. Maybe if the end was rounded off it might be nicer. Lastly, the retention mechanism for 1/4 hex side failed after like a week. Any bit I placed in there would fall out immediately, making the tool essentially useless to me. 5 stars before it broke. 2 stars now.
  • If you are even considering this ratchet just go for it. It has smooth action, is durable enough to slip a pipe over for extra torque. I was skeptical of the bit driver side but it’s amazing for motorcycle work and keeping with me while I ride. Rention is by spring clip not magnet so it holds well.
  • I have to agree 100% with the previous review, as it is almost exactly what I wanted to say. I too, was looking at this ratchet before any reviews were posted, and I thought I would take a chance, because it just “looked” like a good little ratchet. And it is! The chrome finish and the feel of the ratcheting action is quality. And yes, it IS small. This little dude measures 3 and 3/8 inches long, according to MY ruler, and it is very sturdy. And I know that this tool will come in extremely handy in having to deal with tight spaces. As I type this review, this ratchet is going for $8.81, and at that price, it is an excellent buy, IMO.
